Brothers Santiago Navarro and Chef Diego Navarro opened Polanquito in April 2019. Polanquito is named after Polanco, a trendy neighborhood in Mexico City filled with upscale gastronomy. In Spanish, “ito” means little, so Polanquito means “little Polanco.” Polanquito’s menu has delicious food from many different regions of Mexico.

Tio Trompo is a Mexican restaurant in Houston serving authentic Mexican food with a focus on tacos. Since 2021, the menu has featured breakfast tacos, trompo tacos, tacos al pastor, and aguas frescas for a quick dine in or takeout meal. Guests can enjoy familiar flavors in a casual taco restaurant setting.
